"Add new programs" had tried to use "INSTALL". The other files, barring the notepad readme, were not applications. There are two possible files which looked to me like they might fit the bill, both have a little picture of a CD inscribed with "EVA" on, and one is named "SETUP" whilst the other is named "INSTALL". I then went digging in My Computer and looked on the actual CD. Initially, I attempted to go through "Add new programs" and let the computer detect the setup file automatically and install, but that only succeeded in bringing a DOS window up for about two seconds and then booting out of that to desktop. I've been attempting to install this game on my PC, which has Windows XP, but nothing works. This is NOT "Command and Conquer: The First Decade" and it is NOT "Command and Conquer Gold", this is the original "Command and Conquer" released and bought by myself in 1995. This is the original game, otherwise known as "C&C1" or "Tiberian Dawn", although it wasn't given that name till years later. Firstly a note about what type of C&C I have.
